Kalyanam Gopuram Two Stamp Card
A two page South Indian wedding card built from two postage stamps on a warm cream ground with a faint vector ogee damask and star booti. The top stamp is deep maroon with a fine gold line-art gopuram, seven niche tiers, kalasam finials and a barrel roof, flanked by caparisoned elephants, peacocks with long eyed trains and lotus vines, all inside a zigzag inner border over a gold dot field. Page one's cream stamp carries a short kalyanam story in tracked Cormorant Garamond; page two carries the nichayathartham, muhurtham and reception in a three column Gilda Display row with the venue below.
