A two page 24x36 inch portrait sign set on warm washi off-white with vermilion and muted gold: page one centres a five-strand awaji musubi mizuhiki knot with true over-under weaving above the couple's names in Zen Old Mincho, Japanese names, date in English and kanji numerals and a bilingual thank you, and page two is an order of the day with Jost times, Japanese event names and a vertical tategaki blessing. Calm, ceremonial and modern Japanese in tone, framed by a fine double gold rule and organised symmetrically with generous space.
