Bitgrain is run by one person, so every message goes to the same place and gets read by the person who wrote the code. The fastest route is email at bitgrainimages@gmail.com. If your message is a bug or a feature request, the support page is better, because it creates a ticket that can be tracked rather than a thread that gets buried.
Write to bitgrainimages@gmail.com for anything: billing questions, licence problems, press enquiries, partnership requests, or a question about whether Bitgrain can do a particular thing before you spend time trying.
Replies usually come within a couple of working days. Bitgrain is maintained from India, so if you write from the Americas the reply will often arrive overnight.
The support page at /support takes bug reports and feature requests and turns them into tracked tickets. You can see the status of anything you have filed from your account, which is more useful than an email thread for something that takes more than one exchange to resolve.
When reporting a bug, the two most useful things you can include are the browser and operating system you are on, and the file you were working with if you are able to share it. Most rendering problems are specific to a browser version or to a particular camera's RAW format.
Payments are handled by Razorpay for customers in India and PayPal everywhere else. Bitgrain does not see or store card details.
Pro is a single payment covering ten years rather than a subscription, so there is no recurring charge to cancel. If something has gone wrong with a payment or a licence has not applied to your account, email the support address with the transaction reference and it will be sorted manually.
The refund policy sets out what is covered and over what period.
Bitgrain is built and operated by Diptanshu Mahish, an independent developer and designer based in India. There is no support team, no ticket triage layer and no outsourced first line.
That means replies are slower than a company with staffed support, and it also means the person answering can usually fix the thing you are writing about.
